Linksys BEFSR41 Router humming - HELP!

Has anyone had a Linksys router hum very loudly before? I just bought this thing earlier tonight, and it's literally giving me a headache. I can hear it humming from across the room. It's a very high pitched whine kinda... very annoying. I think that I might take it back in the morning and try another one. I tried plugging it into different circuits, and moving it around the house (thinking about interference), but nothing helped.

So, is this normal? I hope not...

I've had mine start to emit a hum twice. It was the power block in the cord, not the router itself, and unplugging it momentarily made it go away both times. Good luck, hope it's something that easy, but otherwise give Linksys a call and request an RMA.

Well, it's not the power block (different blocks still have the same noise, and I can hear it coming from the router).
This morning, I took the router back, and got another of the same model. Same problem.
RoadRunner was installed this afternoon... I plugged the cable modem into the router and rebooted everything. The router got an IP over the WAN connection, but I'm not getting anywhere. It's still humming too.

Here's my setup:

Laptop-->Switch-->Router Uplink

Can anyone think of any solutions?

Update -

Router now works and is fully functional, but the humming persists. I have many friends with the same model, and none of them hum. Actually, it's more of a high pitch whine... very annoying.

Just a thought... take the router to a friends, and plug it in... if the same issue persists, it has to be either the power cord or the router

I have two Linksys BEFSR41's and both emit the high pitch whine. It's particularly noticeable when it's perfectly quiet, but that seldom happens in a house full of university students :Q
