Linksys BEFSR41 v3 port forwarding

I had to replace my v1 with a v3 because it died on me, and now the port forwarding I use for FTP server and DC++ isn't working right. The menu system is different, and I thought I had it set up, but it's not working right. Anyone else out there using one of these suckers got an FTP server working with it? How'd you do it?

The only difference between v1 & v3 is to enable
Port Forwarding on v3 you go into 'Applications & Gaming'
rather than 'Advanced\Forwarding'.

Setup and execution are the same.

Yeah, I figured that out. I actually figured out that the problem was my software firewall, namely ZoneAlarm. Forwarding works with ZA turned off. The funny thing is, ZA worked with the v1 router. I'm also trying BlackICE but not having much luck, but I'm less familiar with that so it could be my stupidity. Any ideas what the problem might be with ZA preventing forwarding?

What version of ZA and are you enabling it in the ROUTER?

Free version, not sure what you mean by enabling it in the router. I must be dense.

update your firmware to the latest one if you don't wanna be sniffed and stuff.
