Linux startup scripts

Hi all,

how can i make a startup script for linux which would allow me to restore settings i inputted for ipchains. in other words, how can i get the command ipchains-restore < my_firewall to run automatically when i boot linux? thanx

/etc/rc.d/rc.local is the general place for things like that.
