Hello All,
This is another thought to get a fresh attention from you guys on this Deal.
Here is the thing One can do to get the rebate...

1)Got to CC buy 3 box of 30 CDR from TDK at the regular price, get the valid reciept,
Rebate form.
2)Make a photocopy of this Reciept from CC. Keep the Rebate form at home.
3) make the purchase at Target of the same item ( 3 Spindles of TDK CDRs) at $9.99 each.
4) Go back to CC and return the items purchased( Because you found the better price!)
5)Get your money back from CC.
6) Go back and cut the barcodes from Target purchase and send it to CC with photocopy
of Reciept and Rebate form.

As it is from Young America it is not possible for CC to keep track of Return items.So
Young America WILL SEND YOU $60 CHECK!

Am I missing something here? Let me know your thoughts,

Sounds like a good plan to me

Although this is a bit unethical, and maybe against the rebate policy since you have to purchase from CC, I was thinking of doing this myself. It's the only way to be guaranteed of getting your rebate without bothering with PM hassles, unless of course Young America somehow knew that you returned the CD-R's to CC by the reciept you send them. In that case, I believe it is some kind of federal offense or something and they can technically send you to jail and make you pay some outrageous fine. Your choice if you want to risk it for $30.

I wonder how long it will be before this post gets locked?

Not only is this unethical, but when you return the cd-r's to CC, you will also have to hand over the original receipt. If I am not mistaken, the require that you send that for the rebate.

Nope, I believe it's just a copy that you need. At least that's what nearly every place lets you do in case you need to take the product back for repair/replacement.

A way to get around stores trying not to honor their own pricematching policy (a policy which they adapted out of their own free will)? Yep...

Doesn't work? My... umm... errr... friend (yeah, that's it) did that once or twice after being denied PM for no good reason. He got his rebates.
