The second half of it, where Kanye uses Autotune is actually decent because it has some good tunes some good beats some 808s and you don't have to listen to Kanye's annoying voice.

i've found that no matter what everyone says, none of his albums have been awful. the first time through was ehh, but it's grown on me through the 2nd and 3rd times through.

also if you're gonna listen to kanye, i'd say his first two albums were pretty much classics.

Overall it is shallow, some parts have true wisdom, the others are true sell outs. I take Kanye as a product of my generation and after buying his first two albums I think I've paid him enough. I am tired of mediocre + seconds of inspiration.

Agree completely.

He recognizes his own shallowness, though, and it's part of his music... but in the end, it's just too much of it. Some of the most inspired storytelling was in Late Registration and The College Dropout. He produces decent sounding music and has collaborations that work well, but in the end I really don't like most of his lyrics.
