long humming sound

when i turn my pc on everything works fine but theres this long humming/beeping sound that just stays on the whole time......i opened up rig and there doesnt seem to be anythin wrong except the cpu fan isnt spinnging all the time it will start then stop then start ?????/ any ideas ?

im starting to think its the hard drive cause when i touch it or move it around the sound changes a lil

If the fan works like you have described than there might be a problem in wiring, or a defective fan, or PSU.

Also, I heard a few people complain about the compatibility issue of RD500-2SB with GA-P35-DS3L.

Are you sure it's not the hdd vibrating the case?
