Who knows? Longhorn is so far away that's its almost impossible to tell. If the technology is aviable then it will probably be incorporated into it.
The trusted computing is to make it easier for companies to restrict access to files, but it's unpopular concept to restrict user's ability to use their computer in order to protect the intrests of big corporations.
It's hard to say, MS has promises a lot all the time about all sorts of different subjects. The majority of the time it doesn't ever come close to happening, but it still gets people excited for some reason (I am as guilty as anybody).
The best attitude to take when ever MS talks about new technology is "I beleive it when I see it.". Which is also a good attitude to make of 90% of technological promises, there are ten times as much failures and broken promises as anything that becomes actually ends up being usefull.
If you need proof go look back at the promises and hype MS made about WinXP, Win2k, Win95 and all the way back to Dos 3.whatever.
Not that MS is the only company guilty of it, I doubt there is any software or computer-related company that isn't guilty of trying to hype up their software with vaporware and silly claims.
