Looking for a digtal camera

I need to get an ultra compact digital camera for a present. The camera doesn't really need any advanced features, just point and shoot.

I looked at through the posts really quickly and saw some suggesting the Canon SD1000 and saw a few mention the Sony W55, and they are within my price range (up to $200-$250ish). Which would be better for just a point and shoot kinda user.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

I just got an sd800 and i love it, if you can find it in your price range, its not at all difficult to slip it in to my pocket.... i dont know first hand but i hear it takes better pics than the sd1000 and i love the widescreen mode

Yea, thats a bit out of my price range, lowest I found was about 280
