Looking for a satellite provider

I'm currently looking for a satellite provider so I can hook up my HDTV. I had a bad experience with directv and I don't want to work with them again. So, I was wondering what HD provider would you guys recommend. I was thinking between, Verizons FIOS, Att U Verse, and Dish Network's Turbo HD. Do any of these companies provide HD in 1080p? 1080i is fine too. Also, I'm looking something that actually changes the channels at a decent pace, unlike time warners digital cable. Best bang for buck isn't a necessary option, but wouldn't mind.

Sounds like you need to change the title of your topic then. If you hate Directv, then your only other option for satellite is Dish.

Fios is fiber optics to the home.

U-verse is fiber to the node, then over copper to your house, like DSL.

ABC & FOX broadcast in 720p, and damn near everyone else broadcast in 1080i.

Directv & Dish have VOD programs in 1080p. I don't think the others offer it.
