Looking for gaming head phone!

I am looking to replace my 5.1 spks with a head phone to reduce clutter and clear up some space.

Really looking for a head phone that can emulate 6.1 sound (or even more?).

A mic and wireless would be bonus. (wireless causes no lagg on sound does it?)

PS. does wireless desktop (keyboard/mouse) hamper gaming? i have wary of adding wireless mouse and keyboard if it adds more than 10-20 ms to ping/latency.

can't wait to see some of the responses, i'm a big headphone advocate as well ( i don't care for the clutter and cheapness of speakers). perhaps the top of the line sony's or sennheisers?

I have some Technics RP-F880's which seem to have good positioning and quality (normally I use my speakers though, because I have the 'phones in my room). Haven't used them extensively for gaming.

i think positioning effects are mostly done by your soundcard...

There's those Zalman 5.1 Surround Headphones, they have 3 drivers in each earpiece. Reviews say they're decent so long as you're using a 5.1 source. However they're not wireless and don't have a mic.
