I've been using Microsoft Word for mail merging purposes for a while, comercially that is. However, it's slow as molasses when dealing with even more than 5,000 records. I quite often do 50,000 plus. Is there any other software out there that might be faster than Word. The closest I've seen so far has been Avery DesignPro. But it can be somewhat confusing to use for the computer illiterate that I have to train.
