Looking for some voice interactive software . . .

I'm looking for some voice interactive software. Something thats trainable would be nice. I'm semi familar with IV software via telephony capabilities and even understand a bit of voice command software but is there anything for the desktop out there that combines the both?

Software that I can use to execute programs with voice recognition and have it respond back via compter speech.

anybody? I would use the software to help me multitask multiple computers. (yes I know I could use things like VNC to do the job). But it be nice to be handsfree with a lot of the functions and have the computer respond back. Plus its just cool in a geeky star trek/war kinda way.
