Lotus notes question !! help needed

Hi guys,

Well i was just wondering if i can revoke a mail i have send to a wrong user . I am on lotus notes R5 . I am aware of a way to make it happen in OUTLOOK EXPRESS .


Can anyone help me to let me do this in LOTUS NOTES.

Send a wrong mail to the BOSS Nothing serious but still ......

I don't think there is an option from the "client" side.

Notes Admin's can do it. They've done it for some users at the company I work for.

Notes R5 has a HUGE security flaw that allows you to access to DB's you should not be able to access, because when you attach to them through the objects exposted by notes VIA VB or another Object programming lanaguage, it does not ask for a password.

Of course, IBM doesn't see it as a securtiy flaw, but a feature. So all you need to do is connect to the reciever's inbox DB and remove your e-mail via a self built program. Hell, you could write it in VB in Access or Excel if you download the Notes Toolkit from IBM.

Exactly which version of R5 ? They went all the way up to R5.0.12. I'd like to check on the validity of this claim.
