Firts off I love FPS's and I thought have 256 people playing on one map would be amazing.
It is pretty cool for the first 2 or 3 hours. Then you start to realize all the games flaws.
Even though it is beta version I don't know how they will correct all the issues by the time the game releases.
First off some of the maps are horribly designed. Making it very diffucult to win or lose the game. There is one level in particular I forget the name but after you secure the first two areas you must try and secure C. Everytime you respawn you are parachuted down a few hundred yards in front of the objective. I have never seen anyone actually win this board ever. One guy in our clan said he seen it happen once. And they have been playing the beta non stop.
Another gripe I had is the boring weapon system and how unbalanced things are. When you begin the game you get such crappy weapons good luck going up against guys that leveled up at all. I play MWF2 and I like the level system but you also have a solid chance of killing a level 70 even if you are a level 1.
The balancing is so horrible I am a sniper guy and I have upgraded it to the max, still only 50/50 one shot kills. I found there is no benefit to having an awesome sniper rifle becuase a light machine gun has equal power from the same distance with nearly the same accuracy. I don't know how many times I have been taken out a 100 or 200 yards away by a LMG.
Final gripe is that no one has microphones for the game. It is based on strategy and I will be in battlalions where the commander can not tell the troops what to do so it turns into a mess.
Overall I think the game has potential and it is cool with the amount of people playing. It just has so many issues are far as gameplay is concerned. Maybe the finished product will be completely different who knows.
I am hoping Bad Company 2 will leap frog MAG as a game.
