magnetic card reader implementation

Hello everyone

I am looking for a solution that can help me import data directly from my magnetic card to my excel sheet.
I will be grateful if someone can help me or send me some tips on with this matter.

normal card readers just write it to text

so basicly if your cursor is in excel when you wipe the card it will be sent to that cell

if you have notepad open and focused it will be sent there

depends on other stuff, if you are looking to get data out of a security system, it would have to be able to save as some sort of text, like CSV

But i am actualy looking for the unique script or Macro that will put each input of the magnetic card into another cell in my excel worksheet.

the info on the card is basicly just a single line string, which is then matched to a database
