Thank you Doc.

Are you all in, Neurodog?

I have a feeling our RAC will be heading North pretty quick with the TeAm assembled...

I'm all in but I'm dissapointed with my Daily numbers.

I'm a little disappointed too. I'm getting around 2k lower PPD than I was on Enigma. Boinc needs to fix cross project stats.

Either way a great cause, I don't mind lower points much at all.

The Malaria project uses 14 days to calculate RAC. Since you've only been running Malaria for 8 days your RAC is listed on the site as 2707 but your actual daily average over the past seven days (I didn't count the first day since it was a "transition" day) is 5069. It will just take a week or so for the Malaria RAC score to catch up with your real production.

Neurodog, the Malaria site lists your RAC as 884 but your 7-day average is actually 1399. If I only count the four days you've actually been running Malaria with more than one computer, your average is 2340.

Yeah, but on both Seti and Enigma I was averaging 6-7k points each day, now I'm only getting 5. We'll see as time goes on, could be not all my machines moved over when I changed BAM. I'll run around and make sure they're all getting WUs.

Edit: ohh and 7k from The Knights Who Say Ni!

I see what you mean. The 21 days before switching to Malaria, you were averaging 6776 points per day on Enigma. I just might have to switch that Pentium D I mentioned over to Enigma for a day or two to get a same computer comparison on the projects. Malaria does give a few more points per hour than Rosetta on that computer. It would be interesting to see what Enigma does.

Well, since F@H is giving me so much grief right now I'll be adding my four AM2 setups till i can figure out what's going on with that.....but I'm in no hurry to switch back ATM....

...too bad I've already committed my six quads to SoB for this month... would have been nice to see what they could have done here ... (no offense to the nice folks over there!)

Crunch on!

.... and the mosquitoes are kinda cool too! (the graphics, mmmkay?)

My pentium D is dedicated to Malaria control. In a couple of days I will have finished my last SOB work units, and I'll bring the AMD 64 FX-60 over to MC. Every little bit helps.

If we used my idea here , then there wouldn't be an issue.

I just download the latest version of Boinc and then attached to Malariacontrol.net.

I don't think there are "optimized" versions of Boinc available but I could be wrong.
