Rural Filipinos killing a pig for butchering. The pig is trussed up, but screaming in terror for what seems like forever, as they take their sweet time finding the jugular to bleed it to death while still alive. It's . . . a bit disturbing to listen to.

Yup, they bled out a pig. It would have been nice if they had used a .22 to the head just before, but I'm not sure rural Filipinos have access to firearms. Beating it to death with a club would have been no kinder.

yeah, man. these village people in the philippines were restraining a pig by holding it down with their hands and feet, then hog tied it, tied it's mouth shut, and moved it over to, what seems to be, some sort of platform designed for killing animals. they wash it off while the beast is still screaming through a closed mouth, panic and terror in its eyes. then, one dude starts pressing around on the front part of the pig's lower neck as someone else places a basin below the pig's neck, then jams a knife in that spot (presumably trying to hit the pig's heart). he hits it and blood comes pouring out into the basin while the poor pig screams and screams and tries to get away. finally, after what felt like 30 or more seconds of agony for this pig, it closes its eyes and stops fighting and goes quiet. some dude comes along and shoves some palm in it's wound and the pig gives a few last desperate kicks of life.

you coulda clubbed it in the head, hung it by it's legs, then bled it out if that's what the goal was. there are humane ways of getting that done.
