mandrake 8.0 beta 1download?

would like to down load the beta version and try it out but am not sure which of the downloads are nessesary for the program to work properly.

1-8.0 traktopel-beta1-i586.iso
2-8.0 traktopel-beta1-i586.iso
corpo-1.0.1-i586-ext.iso
corpo-1.0.1-i586-inst.iso

i couldnt find the description for what each of these files contain any links that might help of advice....thanks

Just some advice to ya... Don't download it unless you are a experienced linux user..

do you have it installed....some one posted it was really good...installed smooothly and had great hardware support...this not the case?

Easiest linux distro I've ever installed...with MD8, you don't see a cmd-line unless you want to...

it might've been me that posted it was the easiest i've ever used
and it sorta is.
but using it more and more now, i'm starting to see the bugs show up...
so...

my advice is, if you have relaly really new hardware, and you have problems with 7.2, than go with 8.0
if you wanna learn about linux, or run like a server or anything where crashing isn't gd, go with 7.2

I tried it on a couple PC's and had nothin but trouble.. Maybe it was just bad luck. I switched back to 7.2..

well i want to learn more about linux....i am a clueless to it...but i am reading and well i mena you have to install it to learn something...lol...but its not like i need this computer for anything other then messing around...win ME runs fine on it and i will try mandrake on its own partition...i have SuSE loaded but it doesnt recognize anything...it does during post but if i try to access any of the hardware i get nothing but error messeges....i am sure part is due to my own ignorance but loll...it wont even play a music cd...hehehe...but i aint givin up till i understand it better....and since microsoft is getting back at the government for breaking them up with XP and pay to play...prolly good time to learn another OS...lol
