G550 Review
I been reading reviews left and right trying to figure out if I should get rid of my Matrox G400 card.. well not rid of..
My problem is the G400 original dual head, the second head only has 135MHz according to the info tab and max is 1280x1024
I use viewsonic 21"s so I run everything at 1600x1200. Right now, the G450 is slower than the G400 so I didn't take that but from this review, the G550 is slightly or equal to the speed of the G400. And it supports 1600x1200.
Should I get a G550 ?
It does say the 2D isn't as great...
I do have a few appian dual/quad cards but they are soooo slow at high res compared to G400
