Well, $400 was the starting point of almost all top of the line graphic cards (GF4, GF3 Ti500). It should go down later on.

Damn, but that looks to be a powerful card!

Hopefully they will be able to fab it on .13um to keep temps down and die size manageable.

.13 is not really that fabulous as it sounds
yes it can increase transistor density
yes it can reduce heat
but it begins to be slightly comparable to the atoms dimension thus resulting in instability after much shorter time than bigger diameter

but thinking that no1 keeps a processor for longer than about 3 years there shouldnt be a problem

Please note that they state that 128 mb versions will be available below $400.

128 megs is not likely to be the smallest Parhelia so......

Hm.. well, luckily i save my money.. good old g400 is about to be retired...

not that i'll ever use all those features.. i hope they have a budget card for me..
