Max Levels for OCing C2D??

Hello all,

i would like to know the maximum limit of

1)C2D
2)Memory
3)GPU

with respect to temperature, Voltage and etc...(if any), which should cause the Damage for the device??

If possible please state the stable Levels for all the parameters. Tell me if OCing makes the Product void on warranty??

how long the OCed system can run stable without fainting in performance (i mean in terms of years??)

i am a novice here not even half as good as you guys but trying to become one
so please let me know on all these things...

OCing voids the warranty. A mild overclock should last your system many years.

Processor: <1.45v clockspeed will not matter, voltage is most important. Temperature <60 degrees on Core Temp, Search for Core Temp .92 or .93.
Memory: Read the label as for how much volts it can take. Not more then 2.2v for 24/7 in most cases. Some ram can take up to 2.5v.
GPU: You can't really raise the voltage on cards unless you do a VMOD or run a program. If you stay at stock volts, I wouldn't worry about blowing up the card.

There are many things to consider when overclocking. one of the major factors is your equipment, brand and modle seem to make a good deal of a differance. The one thing i would suggest would be to do a search of your exact equipment and see what other have been able to OC it to. This could be a good guide but also rember that every item could OC different.

well Yoxxy, i would assume whatever you have quoted is for stable performance right??

i did not get the point on core temp .92 or .93??, i need little more info on that. please remember that i am a novice here.

memory that i have is Transcend ddr2 667mhz and i dont think it is EPP complaint..
so tell me whether i can OC it or no. limitation is that we cannot afford good memory in my country because of its cost.
normal corsair 2GB 2048 PC 6400(Not dominator series) kit would cost me around 20000Rs i.e. somewhere around 450$ without TAX, add 4% tax on that, it would be even worse.

i am looking out for an cooler like Scythe Ninja for my e6300 but i wont get it here in INDIA, i need to wait until i can get it from US.

now tell me is it safe to OC my system with these limitations considering that i am running everthing with Stocked components??

this is my configuration.

E6300@2.11 (with stcok INTEL cooler and FAN, temp 42deg)
BFG mobo nforce 68oi sli (with stock fan for MCP, FSB speed is 277mhz(not accurate))
BFG geforce 7950GT OC 512mb (temp 52deg and stock speed unchanged)
Transcend memory DDR2 667mhz @ 717mhz ( i dont know about the latency settings and all)
PCIe bus speed is 3975 Mhz.

i achieved all these with nvidia ntune software..

i am not good at manual OCing..

let me know on this..
