How can something so extremely perishable sit at room temperature for many moons with a simple seal on it without going bad? It violates the laws of the universe or something.
1. The food is raped of all bacteria and vacuum sealed in the jar/can/etc
The same way any other canned or jarred food is preserved?
Europeans are the only one's I've seen that like to put mayo on french fries, something that utterly disgusts me. I use it on other things but not fried potatoes.
According to Undercover Brother, white people love mayonnaise and black people think it's revolting.
Of course they find it revolting, it's white. :sneaky:
Wow, a whole thread about mayo and not one person has mentioned "making their own".
Miracle Whip> Mayonnaise?
Mayonnaise > Miracle Whip?
It seems like most folks are very opinionated about this..
Me, I grew up with Miracle Whip in place of mayo, but I also like mayo...in fact, I actually prefer mayo for most things. <shrug>
Does brand matter?
Must it be Hellmann's? Cains?
Mayo is gross and I hate fat people that put mayo on their god damn Italian subs along with oil and vinegar.
