I forget to mention this, but I also thought this was a huge improvement that made using powers a lot more enjoyable. Combat in ME1 for me was about maxing out a weapon to decrease the accuracy penalty then only using that weapon and very occasionally throwing a power in when it was off cooldown. ME2 involved switching between all my weapons and throwing powers in every few seconds and it just felt much more awesome to me.A lot of the moves had very long cooldowns before, now these moves can be used very frequently (thank you shockwave spam!).
