Their support sucks though. If I am lucky I get 1 email exchange per day, and the first 3 have been having me do stupid crap like check my windows installer, directx, .net, and c++, all of which I checked initially and have had no other problems with at all. Then they had me send a dxdiag.
Today they had me run their repair tool, which crashed immediately, and reinstall in root, which I have already tried... I'm jumping through their hoops and it is a very slow process.
I sent in the crash report and patch log on the very first email and they seemed to ignore it, I wonder if they will ignore the crash report for the repair tool as well.
Anyone ever seen this before?
Caught an exception somewhere in the patcher. Closing down...

Error appears immediately after the Mechwarrior logo and I never reach a UI.
Already verified that windows installer, c++, .net, directx are working, tried installing to root and installing with antivirus disabled, also checked antivirus logs and found nothing. Checked file permissions and set them all users to allow, no effect.
MWO installs without error, however the file size is 8.78 MB, if I download a torrent with all the game files and completely replace all files I still get the exact same error.
If I run the MWO repair tool it crashes immediately.

I've already repaired .net 4 and tried installing SQLServer2005_BC, to no effect. As well as cleaning my registry/ rebooting/ reinstalling/ rebooting, numerous times. Ran Defrag yesterday.
*solved* Sort of...
If I log into a non admin user account I can get to the launcher, patching now. This is the only program on my computer that exhibits such odd behavior.
