I got to play the demo last night, took forever to get it downloaded.
I'm impressed. The freedom to go do what you wanted was so refreshing in a genre that had been reduced to go here, do this, follow this path and shoot some Nazis while you are at it.
The only thing I thought needed some work was the friendly AI, it would often go Rambo with Thompson blazing and get shot to bits for no real reason.
We must have played different demos...because i don't recall much freedom in the game.
You parachute from the plane and can land anywhere on the map, even rooftops. Then you can run around anywhere on the map and take out the targets in whatever order you want. Many of the houses and buildings were open for you to run through. What more freedom could you have?
Yeah, pretty much a I didn't really play this demo statement.
You drop from above the map via parachute and all the buildings in the villa have at least 2 entry/exit points.
Without even having to make an actual list, I'd fell more than confident in saying that this is in the top 5 of free roaming games.
I played through the demo twice and it played the same exact way both times.
jesus, you call 2 exits free roaming? I guess our definitions of free roaming differ. Oblivion was free roaming, this game is pretty much like all FPS games out there.
