I have 2 512Mb equaling 1G of this 3500. It was stated by Corsair that this RAM is 100% tested at 434Mhz in a high performance KT400-based MotherBoard. My Asus P4P800-Delux, in the BIOS under DRAM gives me these three options for clocking: Auto, 266 and 333. When I clock using Auto and 266 I get a FSB for RAM of 314Mhz and a ratio of 1:1 and am able to utilize Cas/Ras settings of 2.5-2-2-2, utilizing the 333 I get a FSB for RAM of 392 and a ratio of 5:4 and my Cas/Ras is much higher. It is my understanding the best ratio of CPU to RAM is the 1:1 with low Cas/Ras, so I'm thinking it is better to use a lesser FSB for RAM and maintain the 1:1 vice the larger FSB for RAM with a ratio of 5:4. What say you? Am I correct in this analysys? Also is it possible to get this RAM to operate in the 444Mhz range or am I cut short because of the BIOS options of Auto, 266 and 333?:clock:
