One of my memory sticks died today, but the other one is still good. I just bought a 2 gig 2 stick set of ram, same brand same speed but timings of 4-4-4-12, rather then 5-5-5-12 timings of my old ram. I was wondering if it would be worth it to put my old stick of ram with my new ram for a total of 3 gigs, or would it be better to just use 2 gigs with better timings?
