i think he just likes children, and does not molest them. little kids can be motivated to say anything. also, it seems that the family of the kid this time around was some very low income dysfunctional family. it seems that they just wanted attention/money.

He got lucky multiple times then because this was not the first trial. And what does it matter what the jurors said afterward? Should we eliminate the court system and just take whatever is the latest opinion of these people? We should have new trials so people can change their minds.

And it doesn't help the prosecution's case that the mother of the child is a loser and has used her son in a money making scam before.
