My 360 died a few months back. I called up microsoft, and 15 min later, I had a prepaid shipping box on its way here. I just said my 360 doesnt work, Its one month out of warranty, gave them the serial, and had a new 360 in 2 weeks. It was really a painless process, and they allowed me to buy the extended warranty on the new console.

the other night i got the 3 red ring lights. scared the crap out of me and then i smacked myself when i found out it was a loose AV hookup (i attached the cable to another system that my friend found in a neighbor's garbage bin and now im trying to build another modded system out of it. the things you find in garbage these days...)
