Anyone have it in their vehicle or seen it first hand? I cant imagine it works as good as the commercials make it seem, but it may be cool.

If it's anything near as good as voice command, it should work quite well. Voice command is eerily accurate with zero training. I have a feeling it is based off the same codebase as VC.

Once they move it to real vehicles instead of POS heaps, then it will be worth talking about.

Definitely based off of voice command.
Problem is, apparently it's only available on Ford vehicles.

Have you ever driven a Ford or are you basing your opinion off of something else?

No way in hell I'll buy a Ford POS.
The point of Sync is people are going to do this sort of stuff (read texts, talk on the phone, fiddle with mp3 players) regardless of laws against it or whatever. It at least makes it a little safer and more convenient by voice-activating it.Originally posted by: Engraver
Ford sucks, Sync sucks. Quit giving people more reasons to not pay attention to the road.
My dad has 2 Crown Vics. I agree that they are reliable cars. They're just not very exciting. Great basic transportation (as most Fords are), just too boring for my tastes. I do kind of like the Mercury Milan and the SporTrac (which is way overpriced IMO) out of the Sync cars.Originally posted by: TallBill
Not all Ford's suck. My Crown Victoria happens to run great.
