mid-tower with an antec PS

Hey everyone, i have a midtower case and the place where the PS goes is right up against the top of the case...like most mid-tower cases. i was thinking of getting rid of the PS i have right now and getting an antec true power 430, but in the pics of it i noticed that it has a fan on top of it. would it be bad to stick this in my system? and if its ok, would i have to get rid of the grill on the top fan there and drill holes into my case? here's a pic of the power supple

also, i have space for 4 case fans in my system...one in front, one in the rear, one on the side window and one up top. whats the best combo of intake/outtake that would keep my case nice and cool? im not OC'ing anything.

The Antec twin-fan units are supposed to be installed so the second fan is on the bottom, not the top, so it's sort of a non-issue unless your case happens to have a solid platform below the PSU.

For the case fans, most people have all the fans blow toward the rear, so the front ones are intake and the rear are exhaust. I like the 5-for-$11 NMB quiet fans at svc.com, for cases with free-breathing vents like the Antecs and Antec-alikes such as Chieftech.

Also, for the system you currently running and most 1-2 HD systems with out tons of other stuff will be fine with the Truepower 330. The Truepower 430 may be a better choice if you plan on upgrading the system many times down the road, but if it is going to forever live in this computer you may as well save some money and get the 330.
