heh, without the engine I was crawling along at 8 km/h on any sort of incline. I could barely move away from the spawn. But still a decently fun tank to play, the armor is pretty unreliable though.
Had decent games this weekend. I regret buying the AT8 though. I should've just stopped at the AT2, the at8 just can't hold its own. it's still too slow and the gun isn't intimidating, being a rapid fire pea shooter. It bounces same tier guns and that's about it, tier 6-7s go right through it and the giant tumor is always being smashed.
For the British TD line, it goes every other tank is good, every other one sucks for a while.
AT2 - Great. Sweet armor that if you get in a Tier V match will be hard for opponents to pen.
AT8 - Sucks. Armor, while on paper is the same as the AT2, has a lot more weak spots plus your opponents guns are better.
AT7 - Great. However, you have to use it to its strengths. The armor isn't very good except right around the gun. The good thing is, the gun has great gun traverse and sits on the extreme right edge of the tank. So you want to angle your tank so just the gun barely pokes out around the corner. This makes it difficult for tanks to pen you, and you have great DPM. I've had a lot of devastating games in my AT7. Enough so that I actually kept it even though I went all the way to the 183.
AT15 - Sucks. Armor doesn't cut it, and it can't poke around the corner like the AT7 could. Gun isn't as good as it was with the previous tank.
Tortoise - Great. One of the highest DPM's in the game for any faction. Armor is sub par, but can still be utilized to great affect against lower tiers. That gun is amazing though. If you are in the back field so that other tanks aren't firing at you, it is easy to get a 4k+ damage game.
183 - Great for now, but they must have realized they were breaking the "bad - good - bad - good" trend and so a nerf is incoming.
