i try not to platoon up with blues and unicums nowadays, they take all the damage, i'll get wins but my wn8 tanks.

if i play solo, it's the other way around ugh, never ending

I don't give a rat's ass about my wn8. My stats have not moved significantly in 5k+ games. I am a 60% win rate 2k wn8 player. Platoon, solo, whatever. It just sits there. I *WILL NOT* try to pad a metric at the sake of fun. I *WILL NOT* be a damage whore, kill whore, whatever. I just don't care.

i played "for fun" the first 15k+ games, especially derping in the type59. now i play to do well as there's no other reason to play anymore to me except to get more tier X's, and increase my w/r + wn8. kinda like an rpg to level up and show improvement. but i totally get where you're coming from.

when i realized there were stats and such in the game, luckily i was in the green, however my w/r sucked ass. it's taken me over a year to get from 50% to 52%.
i'm still having fun in this game, i burnt out a few times but now that im enjoying clan wars and stuff again, it's fresh again. i care about stats but not to the point of re rolling as i can't imagine grinding thru to get 21+ tier X's again. way to much time involved.

I like trying to improve my stats because it pushes me to get better at the game. I understand the whole "don't care" attitude as well, but for me it is part of the fun.

I don't do it by engaging in any certain behavior though (trying to snipe all the kills, trying to do just the most damage, etc.). I just try to get generally better overall.

And that is why WOT needed a walk on part in the last LOTR movie, it TROLLS so hard. I have been keeping a pretty good 54% win ratio and slowly getting My eff up as I move up to bigger tanks. its pretty easy to grind some good win/loss in the low tiers as people are just stupid. But there is a catch, to many good players use the OP tanks in low levels , t18, etc.. and just seal club the noobs.. I love my lolTraktor, am like 70%, im even match for almost all i go against so its my skill that makes or breaks me. just got a hellcat (skipped it my first time through the ranks). Over the 4th I did the "quit when I loss" thing, started at 11:00PM, won 32 in a row.. yes really almost all where 50%+ win chance but there was a 22% in there and a few 40%. was up till almost 4AM. then there was this weekend.. 54% is now 51% i had games where I was the only one to kill a tank, games where over half my team was dead in less then 3 minutes. I didnt keep close track, but i had a 20+ losing streak, and over 2 days i may have won 10 games of 50-60..

i dont mind losing its part of the game, but you cant even "work" a bit when your team is half dead in 3 minutes.. its you against 4-5 tanks all the time. Some good angling and good spot cant make up for dumb azz players no matter what. Dont help that I would only say im "OK" player.. So much frustration some times.

ugh rough weekend for me, worked a 17hr shift saturday into sunday
tried to tank yesterday for a little, couldn't do anything, it was like i was in zombie mode hahahah. ended up with ~1200wn8 shiet

man the leopard PTA gets ammo racked EVERY single shot, i may need to run double repair kits but that would get expensive. yes i have safe stowage already on it....

Yeah the weekend kind of sucked for me as well. I guess I did ok personally (1740 win8 over the whole weekend) but kept getting on such donkey teams that it was frustrating. 47% win rate over the weekend.

Well, another "meh" night of WoT. I'm sure the win rate was below 50%. Went 0-4 with my OBJ 430 even though I played three great games (Doing 4k+ damage in all of them) and only one bad one.

I had some other games that went alright though. Just finished an outstanding OBJ 430 II game, and decided to quit so I left on a high note. This is what happens when enemies leave portions of the map that are important uncontested:

yea i'm in rddt, not many people have the 113 is why
i only unlocked it to get the top gun on the wz-120 for free (why waste 60k xp grinding when i can kill 2 stones)

I've heard the 113 isn't a bad tank. Though I've rarely played against it so I don't have much of a personal opinion.

it's not a great tank, it's more of a heavy medium a la E50m w/o the accuracy.
is4 gun but worse gun handling, faster reload.
must play it mid range as the insane slope will bounce a shit ton of shots. once in close everything pens you as they just shoot down your upper plate. so basically everything up to tier X you learn to brawl and face hug to do well, but then the 113 you cannot do it anymore......

honestly i would stop at the tier 9 heavy as that is a great tank. unless you happen to be grinding both med and heavy lines at the same time. then unlock the 113 to get the top gun on the med line.

for some reason I like the t-28 prototype a lot. It's every bit as slow and unwieldy as the AT series, but the gun is great and people are afraid of you. The turret armor sucks though and you're no match against higher caliber tier 8 and 9 guns, and arty just completely obliterate you. But being so slow while packing a punch is kinda nice, since nobody expects you to be a linebreaker of sorts.

i enjoyed the t-28 proto grind, the armor rocks at tier 8 battles as people still won't shoot the turret for some reason.

t30 was awesome

I should play my E50m more. It's such a fun pub tank but I get the worst matchups in it. Guess I should do that before I can't anymore...

I guess I'm not too disappointed that they are nerfing the 183. Played 41 games now in it. 48 percent win rate. I've only ever penetrated with the gun a max time of 3 (you've read that right) times over those 41 games. The tank hates me.

Edit: 4 penetrations now! Woo!

haha you won't see them around post nerf. it is a 1 trick pony with the worst gun handling in the game and now that trick is gone

Made a new friend last night. Most of the Bulls members I know from being clanmates in prior clans. However this one guy, a Bulls member was tooling around in his 50B. I was tooling around in my 183.

I gladly took one of his shots to return fire. Now, what is amazing to me is that he stayed near me after I was spotted by his hapless teammate in an E75 (I also traded shots with him). So, if you are there in a glass (auto)cannon and you just noted a 183 near you, would you hang around? I know I wouldn't. But he was milking damage against the medium 9's near me. Got 2k damage before I ended him.

But my best game last night was in the KV-2. As my team crumbled around me, I was left with 2 brain dead teammates, a T29 that was beyond passive and an arty player. End game saw me sniping a Panther, a KV-1S, and a T29 from 400m away. I was one away from Top Gun but the opposing Chi-Nu hid like a girl so I had to cap it out. After the game I found out that our T29 was a 44%er, and our arty (46%) never hit anything. What I did not understand was that while this was a good game, I ended up with Ace Tanker on it with 1200+ raw EXP. I only did 2k damage and most of that were sniper shots which meant I did not get as much XP for them.

I love those T18 tanks in Tier 2 battles. I play in my T26. Crew has camo training and I use a camo net. You have to get close before you see my T26. Gold shells cut through those T18s like a hot knife through butter. I love to club the clubbers. LOL

Tried WoT briefly a year or two ago, never got into it but recently downloaded WoT Blitz on my iPad and have been having lots of fun. Nice that it syncs progress between my iPhone/iPad using game center... definitely foresee myself spending some $ on this game soon. I assume the iOS version has simpler controls and such? Anyway, I'm gonna (re-)install again on my new PC and start as a n00b.

pretty low, as i can play it on a shit work laptop dell 6420(i5 with onboard graphics) @ 1024x768 with everything low. i get ~50-80fps on that.
