I wonder how many you from AT I've run into in WOT. I've been playing for about a year now, and this has become one of my favorite (and most frustrating/challenging) multiplayer games.

I platoon with some Otters every once in a while. I had the pleasure of fighting my first CW in 2 years against Otter last week. That went wonderfully as we had two callers in the same battle questioning each other. That combined with a defeatist attitude made the game last... not so long!

Please just tell me you are not Chai Sniping (tm) to get those stats!

OTTER is tough to beat in CW. We have some really good callers and players that have been doing this every day for a long time. The only clan that we had very close fights with was G in the invitational tournament, and managed to win first place.

As far as the second comment The players that chai snipe don't usually have high win rates. They are the guys with 3k WN8 and 55%. I make fun of people I see doing it every time.

I have 3.5k WN8 or higher in following tanks... half of which would be really hard to chai snipe with:

IS7 - 71%
Tiger 1 - 90%
Tiger 2 - 69%
Type 59 - 81%
Obj 140 - 77%
T62A - 79%
Batchat - 73%

My first T10 was an E5 with 750 battles, 3k WN8 and 60%. I also recently got an E100 which is at 3.1k WN8 and 74%.

Compared to sniping tanks which I hate playing and end up being too aggressive, which results in dying all the time:

50B - 2.9k WN8, 64%
Rhm - 2k WN8, 70%
WT Pz4 - 2k WN8, 68%
Obj 268 - 2.7k WN8, 61%

yea we always end up fighting otter in tier X strongholds cuz nobody else is in it besides G. we've managed to beat G a few times but can't beat otter, we do however take out their 113's hahah proving once again that tank is utter shit.

WG needs to hurry up and release the Stronkholds patch so that everyone will play them again. They were really active when the mode was released and are quickly dying. Every night that we play them, we'll run into the same few teams and after beating them 2-3 times they all stop playing. We end up sitting in queue for 15 minutes before giving up.

Also, if anyone is interested in having me watch their replay to give some constructive feedback/advice I'd be happy to.

You can't be talking about Tier 8 strongholds on the east coast US server, because we played quite often and usually never had trouble finding teams. We also hardly ever lost.

I will no longer platoon with those types of players. I just get so frustrated at their style of play as I am most likely dead in a push and I look back and realize they are double bush camo-ed up in ANY tank getting damage in while not helping the team. So I am glad you are not one of them.

I was going to be a happy legionnaire, without a clan, playing in strongholds for whoever needed me. But they are offering NO bonuses outside of the battle for that. So screw it, I ended up joining PLSGO as they are very relaxed when it comes to battles and that was a welcome change of pace.

Both Tier 8 and 10. Last night we couldn't get a game a little past midnight, after beating the same team multiple times.

We did both 8s and 10s at around 8-10pm EST. Had different opponents each time. But I try to log off by 10. Dunno if the action slows or picks up after that.

Well, I was in Forge until recently and we played a lot of Tier 8 strongholds and didn't lose very often. And we usually didn't have any issues finding teams to play against. Although I don't generally play as late as midnight unless it's for CW.

Yeah not sure why I purchased the 113 after everyone says it sucks. I've yet to really have a good game in it after 28 games.

That being said, I've been exceedingly lucky with my MM in that tank. 71 percent win ratio over those 28 games.

i think the issue is the armor is pretty bouncy from med to long ranges, however it's built to brawl, so the closer you get the less the armor helps since the enemy will be firing "down" onto your upper plate...i just haven't found a way to make it work. it does sidescrape like a boss however, almost as good as an is-7 if you angle it just right

the gun however straight up sucks, nowhere near as nice as the is-4 gun to which it's compared all the time, i bounce my heat ALL THE FUCKING TIME. you'd think 249 pen would be plenty but the gun handling is so horrible it doesn't pen 1/2 the time imo.

Looks like the big mission for this weekend is double crew experience every battle (unless I'm reading it wrong), which is awesome.

Got the Indien-Panzer yesterday. Today, I'm liking it better with the longer 88mm gun on it. Top engine and tracks and 2nd radio on it. Nice tank, not fast but okay.

Just pulled off a 9 kill game, 5k damage, Steel Wall 1.3k damage; don't ask how.

Nice game. That's a ton of base XP.

I'm going the other route towards the Leopard 1 (through the RU, so the new mission isn't helping me at all). Just got the Awful Panther, which I find isn't too awful actually with the top gun. Still grinding the top engine which is quite a bit more powerful and then I think it will be a nice little tank.

Unfortunately I didn't get to play on Friday or Sunday because of work, and this weekends mission was awesome (double crew XP). Only got in 24 games on Saturday, though it went alright (2k WN8, 57% win).

Best game I had yesterday was one where my platoonmate and I were frustrated and wanted to yolo rush mid in Northwest. We were in E100s and were sick and tired of carrying deadweight. So we thought about the worst position to put ourselves in and it was the medium playing fields where we thought we would get sniped from the ridge, arty would crap on us, and mediums would flank us.

Instead we ended up doing ~10k damage between us as medium after medium had no idea how to shoot us and tried to put HEAT rounds into our tracks. 2 mediums RAMMED me. It was just a farming paradise.

Well I've picked up the game again and I'm probably terrible since my win percentage is sitting at a miserable 47.4%, for some reason my little Panzer III/IV medium tank gets put into matches with Tier VII & Tier VIII tanks a good bit which makes it hard for me to contribute especially when the most I can typically hope for is spotting tanks, a fair number of the tanks I'll be lucky to do damage to even if I do target their weak points. Any tips that you folks care to give?

Panzer III/IV won't see Tier VIII. Tier VII is the maximum it will see, though that will still be tough.

I'm not too familiar with the Panzer III/IV, and to be honest looking at the stats it doesn't look that stellar. One thing that does appear nice about it is its speed though. You can try to get into aggressive positions with that speed, but considering your current experience with the game I feel like this might be a bad call as you won't be able to work those positions good enough.

I'd try to play it as a mobile support. With that speed, hopefully you can get to positions where you can exploit flank shots. Don't be too aggressive until around the mid game. At that point (when some tanks have died) you can look for potential openings to exploit with the speed of the tank. Get around behind tanks and hit their rear. Don't stay engaged with big heavies if they are going to turn around and deal with you. Don't be afraid to do drive bys, popping off a few shots and then zooming away.

Your gun depression isn't super (6 degrees). You can work the ridgelines a little bit with it but not as well as many of the other mediums.

Your camo rating isn't bad (as long as you don't fire your gun), but your view range is atrocious. If you are wanting to play a scouting role, you'd need binos equipped. Note that when spotting, if you spot a tank and then that tank gets damaged by a friendly, you get XP for "spotting damage."

I was told that I was playing it wrong when I last played it. So I bought it again. It is a faster PZ4. The gun is decent. I dislike fast-medium play styles. I prefer the lumbering heavies. That said, I can still do a damn good job in it... but my survival rate is pretty questionable.

Anyone else find the ease/simplicity of playing low-tier tanks the most enjoyable? Most of my tanks are tier 4 or lower with tier 1 being the most fun (IMHO).
