The change from 80 mm to 100 mm sideamour and added gun-depression transform this thank.
i don't get why it got +40 sheel...

Before you had to go WAY over the hill to hit anything...now you can hit...with very sloped amour...it can acutally go hull down on slopes now...hide the turret ring...and get ready for bounce-party.

I guess I never saw depression as a problem considering it had better depression than the KT, or most of the german vehicles actually. So I've adapted to using it like a normal german heavy.

You can hide the turret ring but the two "cheeks" on the turret are very reliable pens, and is where I aim for most of the time. Not to mention the shot trap right underneath the gun. Again, it's only hard to pen for people who don't know how to fight it.

Most players dont...at least not on the EU server....I havn't had a bad game in the Löwe since the buff...it's raking in credits and bounces all sort of shite it didn't bounce before.

Well, that's what I'm saying. Don't consider a tank "OP" when you're fighting noobs with it. The sidescraping buff is good, but that by no means makes the tank "op" when it's still full of weak spots from the front.

I'm not talking about n00bs...I'd wager than 90% of players on the EU server, don't know what to do with the Löwe.
I know....as I play it a lot lately...and I am amazed at how even experienced players bounce of that tank now.

I still don't get the +40 ammo buff though.

I am a Lowe owner and lover. OP? Certainly not. LOL It takes damage pretty easily. Hull down? Aim for its side turret when it rotates to shoot at someone. Like PY said, 'Cheek Shot" Blammo! Damaged. Show that front lower armor and kiss your engine good bye. Despite all its flaws though its one sweet sniper tank. I got mine rigged for sniping. Camo trained and camo net. I can hit the top of those other tanks as they try to hull down and the gun pens nicely. Enemy too big? Gold shell. Pisses them off. LOL And here's the thing. A Lowe can use quite a few gold shells and still make really good credits. OPed? Nah, it can die easily enough if you know where to hit it. Still makes more creds in a fight however than most of the other tanks in the battle due to it's gun damage and low repair costs. You don't have to make kills to make high credits in it. Just do damage on as many tanks as possible.

For the first time in a LONG time I turned blue. Sometimes you must cull the weak to keep the herd strong. Tier 9 game in my roomba. An idiot platoon brings in a tier 1 tank. Both of them think it is pretty funny. Further they then troll me who did not think it was funny by driving in my path. Euthanized them, turned blue. 3 friendly tanks (including our E75) turned around to kill me instead of ignore it, thus we lost position and the match 15-2 (somebody killed the two scouts they had).

The troll platoon thanked me for the credits, which I then told them dun worry they won't get any (since I did not generate any in the match) and further, even if I did it would not cover the cost of their repair. They thanked me anyway and I told them that I have enough credits to team kill them EVERY time they are on my team. Which I will.

I dislike the whole idea of TKing but I will admit there are times when it is sorely needed because idiots love to mess with me or the whole team in general. I have been blue a couple of times myself. Justified as far as I'm concerned. Worth it to teach extreme idiots they have no rights. I dont blame you PF. Not one bit. I'm sure they deserved it.

Only one time I have been 'banned' for tk'ing. There were two situations, if I recall, close together needing a tk, and then I accidentally damaged an ally and boom, game closed.

One thing to remember if you do feel the need to tk, is that killing an ally that is inside either cap area is an immediate blue.

So if someone is tk'ing you, and you can get in a circle, it'll make them blue.

Might have to break out the Lowe again with the changes, I pretty much stopped using it since it was so squishy and just used my T34. I sold my Super Pershing when they offered that chance since it also was a POS to anyone who knew anything about anything. I could have forgiven its massive holes in its armor if it had about 15kpm more speed, but it didn't and so I took the deal and have been more than happy ever since.

yeah I sold my SP as well. Before I sold it I played 5 games... 5 games in a row where every single shot was to the copula, the cheeks... basically all the gaping holes in the front. At long distance the SP gun can't pen diddily squat without gold and as a tier 8 you're fighting a lot of very accurate tanks even at 300m. I regularly drove it with my friend's KT though, and he always remarked that the SP was a "heavy". (it really was).

With the nerf to the armor... that makes the tank a big heavy useless piece of junk with a bad gun. No thanks, rather have some gold to sling on premiums when they go on sale.

I never sold my SP. I don't use it much anymore. Not because of any nerf mainly because my IS6 outperforms it in most cases. The times I have used it since the change hasn't stopped me from doing well in it. The Lowe and IS6 are my fav T8 gold tanks these days. I really enjoy the E-25. It has fast become a fav TD of mine. Almost as fun as my Hellcat. Almost but not quite.

Wrong. If you TK inside spawn or inside flag cap, you turn blue instantly. If you're going to kill dumbtards kill them outside of the caps.

The Sturer Emil? Everyone complains about this thing, but I'm on it now and honestly, what's so bad about it? I don't even have the top gun but I think it's fine.

Here's the thing: The most important soft-stat for a tank is gun depression. It completely dictates where a tank can fight and where it cannot. This is why Chinese tanks are miserable. On anything less than completely level ground they may be unable to shoot a tank 20 feet in front of them. The Sturer has 15% of depression which is stupefying. It is meant to fight on a ridge line. Pull up to ridge, shoot something below, pull back. It is a glass cannon, for sure, but so is the SU-152.

It needs to play well back, of course. But so do a lot of tanks.

The issue really is the lack of gun traverse which negates your camo and view range and then you have the issue with mobility. It's like driving a Maus, it's so horribly slow that you can't relocate depending on the flow of battle.

I'm hoping the 128mm gun changes things, even though it only carries 15 rounds.

Playing with stock guns is a rookie mistake. Save your free exp and get the better gun. Need the tracks, just buy a suspension kit.

The tier 7 was not bad, people say it is, but it is not. It is still much faster than the T95, it has a devastatingly overpowered gun at tier 7, i has massive gun depression which can surprise the hell out of opponents. It is one of the easiest tanks to grind because 4 penned shots is 2k damage.

If you want to know what is bad on tank destroyers, it is a subpar gun. Then you have NO advantage. You got camo, you got view range, but you have nothing to damage the opponent with. The old JPIV was like that until they buffed the L56. Everything can be overcome if you have a decent gun.

I finally got Ace tanker in my roomba by sitting in the middle of Erlinburg spotting 2k damage while doing 5k damage.

It's 58,000 xp for the next gun. That's a lot of free XP to give up just to not be annoying by a shitty tank. Or what? $13 just to not play a painful tank. :/

i just got passed it and agree with most that was said about it. the top gun makes a big difference thou. there are worse grinds imo.
besides the Rhm and everything that follows makes more than up for it.
in fact the Rhm Borsig is well on it's way to be my new fav
