Hey guys and gals,
I am slowly getting my parts i need for a new build, i bought a Q6600 last week
the last piece of the puzzle is the mobo...
I need one that will support the 45nm parts later next year or the year after that....having said this, i am leaning towards the gigabyte ga-p35-dq6 (p35) or any flavor of the 680i chipset mobo (the burning question i have is the support for the 1333 bus the new cpus will need on the 680i boards) I have 2 gb of pc 5400 ddr2 ram, and will buy the good stuff later on when the price is right, so i will not look into the ddr3 stuff.
Any recommendations ( i am buying the mobo to fit into an antec p180 case, so i have to take into account the connector layouts)
Thanks a million
Kevin
