Modem Problem

Hi

I have harmony v90 modem on my WIN 2000 desktop.

Whenever I connect to internet it gives the error 680: Remote modem not responding.
But if I use another line it is getting connected. If there is problem with modem it should not get connected on the second line also.
What is the problem with the first line ? My phone is working properly on the first line.

If I connect thru my laptop using first lie it is getting connected.

I do not kow why my desktop is unable to connect to internet on first line.

Any ideas ?

See if you have the proper drivers for this modem and check with the manufacturer to see if any updates have been released. Hope this helps.
