I have the BenQ G2400W connected to the HDMI out of the ASUS P5E-VM via a DVI cable, and I am using the HDMI to DVI converter that came with the motherboard.
I have my monitor set to turn off after some time of no use.
When the monitor is sleeping and I try to wake it up by moving the mouse or hitting a button on the keyboard, nothing happens. The only way I can get it to wake up is by turning it off and back on, or clicking the input selector on the monitor once. BUT even then the resolution resets to 1600x1200 and then I am forced to go back into th display properties to return it back to 1920x1200.
What setting am I missing?
