Monitor Probems !!!!!

Whats causing my Monitor to Shake. The picture just randomly shakes. Not real bad but noticable.

System :

AMD Athlon XP 2400
Asus Mobo
1 Gig of PC2700 DDR333 (2X512MB)
VisionTek 9600 XTASY 256MB GPU
60GB Maxtor HDD @ 5400RPM
I/O Magic DVD Writer
GateWay EV910 19" Monitor @ 85HZ (1024 x 768 Resolution)
Misc Other stuff

I've seen monitors shimmy due to being near a wall that has electrical cabling in it. Unshielded magnets (speakers, for example) could also affect a monitor, as could another monitor nearby (on the other side of a dorm wall?). One person remarked that his random monitor weirdness turned out to be caused by his cell phone

My CRT shakes when my Washer and Dryer are on their spin cycles. They are located on the other side of the wall from where my moniter is.

I have an Altec Lansing Powered Sub next to it. Think this might be the cause here...?

Try moving it to find out

a fan blowing on the monitor can be part of it.

the sub maybe blowing air into the back causing it but it would pulsate to the bass.

CRT's are very sensitive even electrical current can have an affect on them. Move it to another location and try it there.

Some monitors have heavy metallic perforated shields inside. (You'll know when you try to pick it up). It is almost certain some kind of electrical interference. Try re-routing the video cable

I moved the Sub and it has not Shook since. Never would have thought it would have interfered with my monitor.

Thnaks guys I was about ready to tell my wife I needed a new GPU. Now wait a sec....... Hmmm ...... New GPU....??? Hmmmm .... Better not ......
