I have an Optiquest V95 monitor and a Viper V770 Ultra gfx card. I find that after the monitor has been on for a while, the very top of the screen appears lighter. It really shows when I have no wallpaper on the desktop. Most of the screen is black, but across the top it appears slightly grey. I have also noticed a lighter band down the left edge of the screen, but when I changed desktop resolutions, it went away.
