I'm looking for a good monitor to replace my 17" CRT. My budget is 200-300 dollars including shipping. I don't mind buying refurbished, if it comes with a warranty. Sizewise, 19-21" is really what I'm looking for. Trinitron would be a big plus, but not required. I would like it to be at least vertically flat, if not completely flat. I bought a Sony 21 incher from TeamExcess when they had that deal but ended up having to return it because of discoloration. I'm really looking for something that would be able to support a resolution of 1600X1200 at least 80hz. Anything past that I will not be using anyway. The monitor will be for games, movies, web browsing and some word processing. Text and images should be clear, though I do not need perfect color fidelity and all that as I'm not doing anything professional. So... with that in mind...
I've looked at the Dell P1110 from Merkortech.com as many people have said that it is a great monitor. However, now that these monitors are 3 or 4 years old at the least, I am wondering if this is still a good choice or if I should go with something that is more recent.
