Monitor Utilities?

After MUCH time and research I FINALLY purchased my NEW Monitor - a Viewsonic P95f+: Turned out to be wasted time and research as far as I'm concerned. I retired my 6 year old 17" Viewsonic which never had a problem.
Anyway - the reason I compain and am here - is because it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to use the adjustments on this monitor to get a really good and "straight" alignment. It will drive you CRAZY - adjust, adjust, adjust............ I may just sell it already and buy another - BUT.......................

Does anyone here know of some Freebie Utility that is a good universal Monitor Adjustment Tool that I can use that is easier to use than the Viewsonic Tools??????

Well there's a company called Monitors Direct on the web that has a free web based program that lets you test some of a monitors features like convergence etc. However you'll still have to adjust things with your monitor controls. I've got an NEC monitor that has a program called Naviset that lets you adjust things through Windows. Maybe Viewsonic has something similar.

Download the Nokia Monitor test program from HERE. After installing, be sure to read through the help section (icon on main page), it has much helpful info..

Thanks guys - I'll try that Nokia Utility - - - - I was going to go for an NEC partly because of that Special Utility that you mention - got rave reviews!
