14 khz. i've had tenitis all my life, and loud, sometimes uncomfortably loud, rock concerts for 20 years.

I think I have hearing damage but I could easily hear that highest frequency. I had to turn up the volume quite a bit though.

Very well could be.

Every single one of the noises made me feel like my eyeballs were vibrating out of my skull. Those sounds were really, really painful to listen to and gave me uncontrollable goosebumps.

at home, 15K and up clips either my onboard audio or my speakers. 14k gets a tone, but I can hear that clipping as well.

I've had tinnitus my whole life as well. (Or as far back as I can remember anyway) I had to turn up the speakers on my laptop to hear some, but for the most part, when I hear those tones on other places, they kill my head.

Very cool test. I could hear all of them, but 16 and 17 were the most difficult. I would like to test this again once I get home... I was using my crappy Dell laptop speakers.

When I did 18, everyone in my office continued their work as normal, except one coworker who immediately looked at me like he wanted to kill me.
