So, I've been reading...and reading...and reading. And it seems that every board has a huge host of potential problems. Just looking for some input on the most problem free and feature rich board - needs 5+ sata ports
Intel usually does a lot of testing/validation on it's motherboards, and their motherboards are usually very relaible; OC features and default timings might be slightly slower vs other brands, but you get stable performance.
The Bad Axe 2 motherboard is pretty feature rich - 8 SATA ports (4 thru ICH, 4 thru SATA RAID controller), IEEE 1394, GbE, 8 channel audio, Crossfire support.
Price is $199.99 at the givn link, which is very good for 975x chipset board.
