I'm thinking about building a 3D workstation for home using the new 45 nanometer Q9300 quad-core processor. From what I've read today, however, it sounds like a lot of P35-based motherboards have problems working with this CPU. Some reviews at NewEgg said that certain motherboards worked fine if they were flashed to a newer BIOS, but that you had to use a different CPU to flash the BIOS. Since I'm not interested in purchasing two CPUs just so that I can go through the trouble of flashing a BIOS, I'm wondering if there are any good motherboards out there that work with the Q9300 straight out of the box?
