Gigabyte's boards are excellent from the hardware standpoint. Their X570 line-ups have solid VRMs that stay cool under load, their layout designs are generally superb, and rear-panel ports selection is also logical. All of which give you an impression that the boards are well planned and well executed. Their RGB blings tend to be moderate and tasteful in comparison to, say, MSI's or ASRock's, which is a plus in my book.
All these positive feelings evaporate once you face all the irrationality in the BIOS. All the duplicitous options which are confusing af, the ungraceful handling of seemingly minor changes that it does not like, and generally time-wasting behavior that is utterly infuriating really takes away from the overall experience.
If you simply want to select an XMP profile and call it a day, then yes they are a solid choice. If you want to tinker around in the BIOS then I highly recommend ASUS or MSI instead.
