Hi,
I am building my first pc from scratch. I have purchased a PC71 Lian Li full tower case. I am going to get a motherboard for it and I am having trouble finding out about installing one of these properly on the net. Do motherboards need to be mounted "lifted" off the panel or whatever surface is underneath it? I got a small bag of screws and little metal square clip things that seem to go in the square holes of the motherboard panel. My questions are, is this ok even though it is metal, and how do i go about installing the motherboard without risking breaking it because i am clueless to how its done, having never seen it done before or doing so myself. do i clip the square clips in so that it lifts my motherboard up or do i go about it in any other specific way? do the lifters have to be plastic so that the board doenst ever get grounded out? thanks for your help in advance...
