The 3 things I gave him:
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP "Barton" 2500
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
I am upgrading my PC and and gave my friend my old CPU/Mobo and Video card while he ordered the monitor and the rest of the stuff. I used my PC earlier today and it worked perfectly fine. Once he puts the 3 items I gave him into his stuff, the PC will turn on but we get no video feed from the monitor at all.
We have tried 3 video cards ( with 1 PCI card) and 2 monitors and still can't get anything from the monitor. If we unplug the monitor we get the "no signal" from the monitor, and when its plugged back in it goes away just into standby, and when we turn on the PC it stays in standby. We've reseated the video card several times and changed some RAM slots as well. The PSU is a 430 PSU, but its pretty much a no-name, but the specs aren't that big.
Only thing I can think of is the motherboard is bad.
Any ideas?
