motivation to go to school?

school is boring........I'm like the guy in office space except in high school. I mean I like friends and everything but that isn't any motivation. Possibly a girlfriend? I don't know. I didn't even go today cause I was up late last night. I just need something or someone to make me goto school. I DONT WANT TO GO tomorrow. hehe.

I have a similar attitude towards highschool specifically. I can't wait to get the fsck out and get to college. I feel like I should be gone already. I have just enough motivation to hold a 3.5, but no more.

party on weekends during h.s. too. I hated h.s. it was too easy for me. I could have had a like a 3.9 or a 4, but I didn't try. Now in college I am paying for it, cuz my study skills suck and I'm apapthetic about class still. College was a definite goal, so that was the motivation, just keep going. Try and find a girl that you want to date, that'll make you go

Note the lack of mention of "Fun". My theory, play the system (school, college, society) until I'm either rich enough to ignore it or just stop caring about it like Thoreau. Really school (after JHS) is useless, I've learned more through my own investigation than I ever have at school.

I didn't really like school through all the years.

Didn't really like university either.

Didn't really like the IT college I did after.

I've been done my schooling now for a total of 10 months, and for the first time in my life I am almost consistently in a happy state.

You should go to school because for most people the alternative sucks badly.

I don't understand people who say university is the best years of your life. For me I was waiting for life to start; my own money, not having to do useless sh*t (university is full of it - the academic side). Its all behind me and I'm glad I don't have to do it again, but things are good now so hang in there and put in the boring crappy time!

Of course some people have a ball throughout. I just wasn't one of em... probabaly because it was a socially-inept private school for me from grades 4-12
