The Moto 360 looks waay better than that...The apple watch (yeah what an original name) looks like a joke, if so many people rant about the Samsung Gear designs, they look dope comparing design with this thing...And i thought the UI was going to be beautiful, but Android Wear looks way better, it is more like Tizen all black...
The Gear 2 is okay, and the Gear Fit at least looks appropos for an activity tracker. However, I wouldn't say they look better than the Apple Watch... and the Galaxy Gear, Gear Live and Gear S are eyesores. I still remember the WSJ's early Android Wear review, where Joanna Stern showed the Gear Live to her soon-to-be-married friend -- that friend said Joanna wouldn't be allowed to attend the wedding if she wore such an ugly thing.
The original Moto 360... well, it looks good in some circumstances, but I think you're overselling its allure. I've worn it. It looks like a generic representation of what a watch should be, and that 46mm case is too big for most people (it looks a bit mismatched with the narrow straps, too). It's somewhat telling that photos suggest the next Moto 360 will be smaller, whether across the board or in a specific smaller model.
I do like round smartwatches, but I'm inclined to agree with the arguments of Apple, Pebble and the like -- digital info is better-served by rectangular screens. The challenge, to me, is getting a design that looks good. I'm not convinced that Apple has completely hit the mark, but it looks fine. The Watch Sport in gray in particular seems to be a good wear-it-with-anything device... you can even dress it up a bit with other bands (such as the black leather loop, or Pad & Quill's leather straps).
